Toby Keith came to the dome once again. But due to the fact that some people had to cancel on their shift at work, I didn’t get my usually spot of premium parking. I had to work as a crew leader the whole night parking cars (just as a sidenote: People still can’t park, I serious had a person pull up and try to park in half a spot and think it was ok. No one seems to know how to turn to park into a spot without three or four attempts or backing in and even then they do a shitty job of parking). The crappy new “The Wolf” country radio station decided to try and crash a concert sponsored by a old and soild country station “KMPS” and it was only made worse by the fact that they were playing their musicd so loud that it just sounds like a trash instead of music ( for being new and starting out they are not too smart about getting into shit with a major venue, Idiots). I didn’t stay any longer then I had too.

Tonight there was a rally at the dome called Back the Track where they are trying to get support to bring a race track to Washington by having Kasey Kahne, Greg Biffle, Darrell Waltrip, Johnny Rutherford, Paul Dana and Sam Hornish Jr. talk about why we need a track and signing autographs, showing off so race cars and giving stuff away too. We all thought it would be a quick and easy event, but we ended up getting slammed with a shitlot of people coming to the event.
All I can say is good luck.

So how they came to the idea of having a Monster Truck show and a Wedding show at the same time I will never understand. So probably the most annoy part of this show is the fact that we charge to different prices for parking and we have to charge you the right amount for the right show pretty quickly (It isn’t as easy as it sounds considering the vast differents in the two events and the fact that it rain another the whole event doesnt help either).
(Story Of The Week):Guy Pulls up in his redneck best (Of course)
Me: Hello, here for the Monster Trucks?
Guy: Yep.
Me: Ok, 10 Dollars Please.
Guy: What I heard parking for the Wedding show is free!
Me: (WTF) Noooo… So you are here for the Wedding show?
Guy: N0, I here for Monster Trucks
Me: 10 Dollars then
Guy:But parking for the Wedding show is free? I am so Confused.
Other Cashier (slightly annoyed): Ok, If You Don’t Understand How This Works…
Guy: I just don’t get it…
Me (Speaking Slowly): You are here for Monster Trucks right?
Guy: Yeah, but I heard Wedding Show parking is ….
Me : No it isn’t free, either way you got to pay me
Guy: Oh, I don’t want to park here then
Me:(Are you Fucking kidding me) That is probably a good idea.
Moral of the Story: Drugs or Stupidity either way it makes you annoying to the rest of us, so put down the crackpipe or remote and pick up a book! (NOW, PUNK!!)

So, I was hanging with friends and got a phone call from my former employer Securitas. I was just going to ignore the call but they left a message so I decided to call them back. It turns out the call was to see if I could work (Ok, so you are probably thinking ” and…” So I will explain the whole story into why this is funny. About five months ago, I went on vacation from my job at the bank for a week to spend time with Sara. The day she was supposed to go home she got sick and we had to go to the hospital and I found out my mom was really sick. I called my work and left a message explaining I would need extra time off to take care of Sara and my Mom, which my job responded by saying if you don’t come to work in three days it would be considered “Voluntary Termination” AKA being fired without us paying unemployment…). I just stood there in awe for a second with my mouth opened and the only thing I could tell the guy was I couldn’t work and hang up. I figured it was a fluke or the guy just had an old call list BUT I got another call from another person (Serious how is this company run smoothly if they never clean out their employee database).

I made it through a whole week of the RV Show (Of course, I spent 95 percent of the time in the office helping out so maybe that had something to do with it).
The only major thing I had to deal with was a new Country station’s sticker stop (like what the Northwest needs is another country station) and money give away. They seriously had no idea what they were doing and really underestimated how many people showed up (unless you ask them then they give some bullshit number). I ended up having to stay an hour longer just to make sure everything went ok (the worst part is I honestly don’t think they give a shit about their listeners, for the simply reason that when it got close to the stop ending they just wanted me to lie and tell people it was over so they wouldn’t have to deal with anymore cars, So sad).

Ok, I found Pandora through a Podcast called Inside The Net (you should check it out). Pandora is a Streaming radio station site, which lets you create your own radio station to play music you like but it also plays music that sounds close to the artists you choose (and if you know the right place to look you can find a hack that will help you increase your music library too).

Well, well, well, I survived another year without being run over by a car, being arrested and I still have no kids (Too bad other people can’t say that). I spent my New Years Night drinking and playing video games (bet that is really shocking, or not). Unlike most people I didn’t make any resolutions for the year, because honestly most resolution made will fail due to the same reason most diets fail. They are way too strict and the person feel overwhelmed causing them to quit. I prefer to have simple guidelines which can actually be followed (But that is my opinion).
Tomorrow I will be working the Tacoma RV Show once again. They have some really nice RVs, I just hope it is better then previous years. Well expect more and better posts this year (Of course, I promise neither).
